Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager
Premium Automotive Dealership | East London
An established premium automotive dealership in East London is seeking a high-performing Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager to take full ownership of its used vehicle division.
This role is suited to a proven automotive sales leader who understands the dynamics of the pre-owned market and can drive profitability through strong stock management, team leadership and sales performance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising departmental performance, managing stock strategy and leading a results-driven sales team within a premium dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Department
- Drive monthly unit sales, gross profit and departmental performance
- Manage, coach and develop a team of sales executives
- Oversee vehicle sourcing, trade-ins, stock control and pricing strategy
- Monitor stock ageing and ensure optimal stock turn
- Conduct vehicle appraisals and valuations
- Ensure exceptional customer experience aligned with premium brand standards
- Collaborate with F&I, new vehicle sales and dealer management
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to maintain market competitiveness
- Maintain accurate reporting and dealership compliance standards
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager within a dealership
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets
- Strong understanding of used vehicle sourcing, pricing and stock management
- Experience working within a premium or high-performance dealership environment
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Strong business acumen and analytical ability
- Valid driver's licence
- Clear criminal and credit record
