SHIFT TOOLMAKER – PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT

R120 – R160 per hour

This role is for a Toolmaker who performs under pressure.

We are seeking a skilled Shift Toolmaker with proven experience in handling swift tooling breakdowns and the ability to work independently without supervision.

If you rely on others to solve problems or need constant direction, this role is not for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve swift tooling breakdowns with urgency
• Diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs to minimise downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and equipment
• Work independently on shift and take full ownership of issues
• Ensure continuous production with minimal interruptions

Minimum Requirements

• Trade Tested Toolmaker
• Solid experience in a manufacturing / production environment
• Proven track record of managing tooling breakdowns under pressure
• Experience with swift tooling breakdowns is essential
• Ability to work on your own and make decisions confidently
• Willingness to work rotational shifts
